AIM Program Director
Temi Aregbesola, MPH, PhD, CSM is the Alliance for Innovation on Maternal Health (AIM) Program Director. She provides support and supervision to the AIM Program Managers. Prior to this role, Temi has served a Community Developer with Prince Georges County Department of Family Services, a Program Manager for the Epilepsy Foundation, and the Director of Prevention Programs at the Bronx Community Pride Center. Temi’s public health work spans over 15 years between her career and passion projects. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology, a Master of Public Health, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Public Health. She is also a Certified SCRUM Master.

Program Manager
Chelsea Lennox, MPH is an AIM Program Manager supporting a portfolio of AIM enrolled states and AIM related projects. Prior to working with AIM, she has worked in higher education, sexual health, and violence prevention. Chelsea has also worked in Denmark, supporting women’s and sexual health initiatives. Chelsea holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Public Health in Maternal and Child Health, with a specialization in Sexual, Reproductive, Perinatal, and Women’s Health.

Nikita Desai, MPH is an AIM Program Manager supporting a portfolio of AIM enrolled states and AIM related projects. She also supports work specific to AIM implementation in Indian Health Services facilities, Tribal Health communities, and U.S. Territories. Prior to this role, Ms. Desai managed ACOG’s in-patient obstetric peer review program, Voluntary Review of Quality of Care (VRQC).
Nikita holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Master of Public Health degree.

Isabel (Izzy) Taylor, M.S. is AIM’s Data Specialist. Her role supports data collection and sharing projects for AIM, its portfolio of states, and its partners. Prior to joining AIM, Izzy worked in higher education and in nonprofit management at a refugee social services agency. Izzy received her BA in Sociology/Anthropology and her MS in Geography, specializing in spatial data analysis and social determinants of health.

Christie Allen MSN, RNC-NIC, CPHQ, C-ONQS is the Senior Director, AIM Projects and Programs. She provides clinical support to and supervision of the AIM Program and other affiliated grants. Prior to this role, Christie served as the Associate Director of Clinical Quality for ACOG, as a quality coordinator for a Planned Parenthood affiliate, and as the coordinator of a statewide Medicaid program for people with opiate use disorder in pregnancy. Christie has practiced as a clinical bedside nurse for over 20 years in adult, pediatric, and neonatal intensive care and inpatient obstetrics, as well as a lactation consultant and is certified in neonatal intensive care as well as healthcare quality. She holds a Bachelor of Science in nursing and a Master of Science in nursing with a concentration in health policy.

Garssandra Presumey-Leblanc, MS is the Respectful Care Project Coordinator, working with the AIM program. She is currently working on creating internal respectful care principles and guidelines for ACOG as well as including respectful care and health equity in the development of future patient safety bundles and the updating of past bundles. Her background is in public health, religious studies, and medical anthropology. Her passion lies in addressing inequities and injustice in healthcare and addressing social determinants of health as it relates to historical legacies of colonialization and systematic oppression of marginalized populations. Garsy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Medicine, Health, and Society and Religious Studies, and a Master of Science in Medical Anthropology and Cross-Cultural Practice.

Alexis Amankwanor, MPH is an AIM Program Manager supporting a portfolio of AIM enrolled states and AIM related projects. Her background includes quality improvement and global health, most recently in Nigeria and Ghana in the pharmaceutical industry. Her passion includes addressing social determinants of health through technology and innovation. Alexis is also a doula and is passionate about working with families.
Alexis holds a Bachelor of Science in Health and Wellness and a Master of Public Health degree.
