About AIM

Access Bundles & Tools proven to save lives and reduce maternal morbidity. The most common complications associated with childbirth involves denial and delayed response from the health care team. Be prepared for the rare and critical maternal morbidity situations with actionable, data-proven techniques and guidelines. AIM supported Patient Safety Bundles and Tools were developed and reviewed by national leaders in maternity care and systems, and include the top three leading preventable causes of maternal death and morbidity: Obstetric hemorrhage, Severe Hypertension/Preeclampsia, and Venous Thromboembolism (VTE).
Join a growing community dedicated to maternal safety and quality. AIM connects you to a peer-to-peer support network through a vibrant online community, facilitated conference calls, and face-to-face meetings. AIM partners use this community to share best practices, confer on cases where they are having trouble, and offer advice on how to most effectively implement AIM supported bundles and tools. It’s an opportunity to share wins and lessons learned, and improve the quality of care your team provides.
Champion a culture of maternal safety in the U.S. When you join the AIM community, you will be able to track your progress and benchmark your outcomes through a national data center to drive rapid-cycle and continuous quality improvement efforts.
